Pros
The MBM/PBM principles are very solid principles. The co-workers were easy to work with and helpful, they genuinely wanted to get to know you and work with you.
Cons
Expectations from upper management were not clear from day one on the job. I was left to make my own path to learn the basic information needed. (not that I minded, I don't need direct instruction to learn what I needed to be successful) But then was told, without clear expectations from up-line boss, that I was not meeting expectations 2 months into the role. You will be judged for not being available 24/7. You will be judged for not overcoming every barrier immediately. You will be told that upper management is here to help you but then get ignored. Everything is urgent, if your boss has eyes on it you better be working on it. This means dropping the important task you are doing and focus on what your boss is focused on.
