Pros
Clean Facility Consistent Hours Great Co-workers
Cons
Working as a part-time employee at Molex comes with full-time job expectations but minimal benefits. The only perk is a 4% matching 401k contribution. Part-timers receive 60 hours of unpaid leave, but there are no paid holidays, bonuses, or other incentives. Requesting a raise is a frustrating process. Essentially, you're treated as a part-time worker with full-time responsibilities—working 20 hours a week instead of 40, yet still expected to deliver high-quality results without additional compensation or support. There’s no access to bonuses, scholarships, paid holidays, or even basic sick pay. Based on my experience as a part-timer and what I’ve heard from full-time employees, I wouldn’t consider Molex for a full-time position. Full-time staff also lack paid sick leave and must dip into their limited vacation time for any absences, which doesn’t make it an appealing option.
