Pros

Free food sometimes is good and appreciated

Cons

Toxic, high-pressure environment Treated like a machine instead of a person Little real training; expected to magically know everything immediately Attorneys can be cold, dismissive, reactive, and condescending Mistakes are treated like moral failures instead of learning experiences Public criticism and embarrassment Favoritism is obvious Some managers only communicate when something is wrong Anxiety-inducing atmosphere where employees constantly fear being fired Unrealistic workloads and expectations for new hires Poor communication and lack of guidance Employees blamed for systemic disorganization High turnover for a reason Management culture can feel unsupportive and intimidating Micromanagement mixed with lack of actual direction Constant multitasking with no prioritization support Little acknowledgment for hard work unless something goes wrong Employees can feel disposable “Sink or swim” mentality Morale is low Office politics and cliques Work environment can feel emotionally draining New employees may feel isolated rather than mentored Some supervisors appear more focused on blame than development Fear-based management style Stress follows you home after work Lack of empathy toward neurodivergence or anxiety-related struggles Employees expected to absorb pressure from attorneys, clients, insurance companies, and courts simultaneously Burnout happens fast Difficult environment for anyone still learning the legal field DO NOT WORK HERE IF U STRUGGLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH

Pros

Not many to list. Pay is not terrible. Freedom & minimal office rules if that's your preference.

Cons

Nobody would believe that this is America's Largest PI Firm based on the way this office looks. There are broken desks, broken doors, broken toilets, no air conditioning in the lobby, mismatched desks and paint colors on the walls, stains in the carpet, and yard sale style fold out table for the office mail table. Company dress code is not enforced to any degree. Staff comes into the office intoxicated or high on marijuana (causing the entire office to smell of weed). Staff comes in and out of the office whenever they please - no regard to the hours they are scheduled to work. The amount of interoffice drama is extreme due to lack of management. The workload is also extreme. Something changes with policies, procedures, or case management software weekly. You are expected to hit metrics and goals that do NOT benefit the clients - only the firm. Numerous complaints reported to HR including racial slurs being used and no action was taken.
