Pros
Work-life balance is pretty great. Half-day Fridays in the summer and an additional (paid) week off each year for "wellness". Work can be exciting as an engineer, especially if you like working with cutting-edge cloud computing platform work (AWS).
Cons
Pay is not great—not even close to a big "tech company". However, what work-life balance would be like at those places is a gamble. Last few years have been very chaotic at an org-level. The company is struggling post-COVID and it remains to be seen how things shake out. Senior leadership is still a tangled mess, and they're getting their bearings.
