Pros

There are some great employees at this company.

Cons

Why are your lower level managers in this department so hostile towards their subordinates? If you wonder why employees feel the way they do and perform on the level they do, you may want to have someone watch your managers closer. I think you holding leadership more accountable is an excellent idea as you have finally realized that the attitude, quantity, and quality of work by the subordinates reflects your lower level LEADERSHIP. Your employees are only as good as their immediate leaders. Think about it. So when your lower level leadership tells you that it is not them it is the employees you should investigate this.

National General takes allegations of any kind very seriously, but especially as it relates to concerns related to harrassment or a hostile work environment. I encourage you to contact me directly or any member of the HR team to discuss your concerns. We will investigate these issues to the fullest and work to address them accordingly. Pros

Great work life balance and management is quite supportive.

Cons

Migration to new system had some issues. Like not being able to access what I needed for work took close to 2 months. Still got paid though

Pros

Pay was good and benefits were good. Teamwork is definitely a plus. I found most team members to be extremely helpful. There is definitely a system to help you learn if you can find the time.

Cons

The company says it will listen to complaints without repercussions, but I didn't find that to be the case. Too many metrics to meet which causes you to fall behind. No room for advancement if the supervisor doesn't like you or if the team is short members. No consistency from team to team.
