Pros

Great CO workers, relaxed environment, okay pay, work from home 2 days a week.

Cons

Where to even begin... this is known as either a “insurance puppy mill” or “claims sweat shop”. I’m sure there are others but that’s what I heard. The workload is so unbearable, you get about 10 new claims on Monday and fridays and sometimes during the week. Then about 6 or 7 other days. Don’t forget the other 60-100 claims you already have to work on. This job is almost equivalent to a call center. Managers listen in on calls and will sit with you while you take calls to make sure you’re doing good. Oh, don’t forget the accountability boards. Managers post everyone’s numbers up on the board on your team and you have DAILY meetings to go over those numbers. Don’t have the lowest numbers because you’ll be completely embarrassed during these meetings. If you are actually one of the lucky few doing a decent job, watch out, they will make you take on the workload of those that can’t keep up....

Pros

-For the most part, the people you work with are good people. Made real lifelong friends and mentors. -As with all large companies, there are plenty of opportunities to advance and/or move around if something isn't a good fit. -One of the rare places still offering a pention

Cons

-Office politics promote plenty of people who don't deserve it and the teams happiness is highly dependent upon who you end up reporting to -WAY too much false urgency created by bad leaders -Big company means slow moving in all the stuff you want to go fast. Often times too many cooks in the kitchen
