Pros

at this moment, I can't think of any

Cons

I worked at Navan for a considerable period, and I regret to say that it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The company's pervasive discrimination, bias, and toxic work culture have left a lasting negative impact. If you are seeking a diverse and inclusive workplace, look elsewhere. One of the most glaring issues at Navan is the silent furloughs and layoffs that have been implemented, which have wreaked havoc on the morale and trust of the employees. The company claims to value its workforce, but in reality, it resorts to underhanded tactics to reduce costs without any transparency or regard for the employees' well-being. The constant threat of job insecurity has created an environment of fear and anxiety. Perhaps the most concerning aspect is the deeply ingrained discrimination and bias that permeates the company. It is disheartening to witness how the majority of the frontline employees, specifically travel agents who interact directly with customers, are people of color. Meanwhile, the upper echelons of leadership consist predominantly of white men. This stark lack of diversity in leadership positions speaks volumes about Navan's commitment to inclusivity and equality. Furthermore, the misogynistic behavior displayed by the company's leaders is shocking. They consistently prioritize the bottom line over fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace. Women are often disregarded, their ideas dismissed, and their contributions undervalued. It is distressing to see how gender bias is perpetuated and how opportunities for professional growth are limited for talented female employees. Navan's toxic culture trickles down from the top, perpetuating a hostile work environment. Instead of promoting collaboration and open communication, the leadership cultivates a cutthroat atmosphere that pits employees against each other. There is a noticeable lack of teamwork and mutual respect, making it difficult to achieve success or feel valued as a member of the team. In conclusion, I strongly advise against considering Navan as an employer. The company's discriminatory practices, biased culture, silent furloughs, and misogynistic leadership create an environment that is toxic and detrimental to its employees. If you value diversity, inclusivity, and respect in the workplace, I urge you to seek opportunities elsewhere. Navan has a long way to go before it can truly claim to be an inclusive and equitable company.

Pros

Competitive compensation and strong benefits package. The coworkers and frontline teams are one of the company’s greatest strengths many are incredibly hardworking, supportive, and committed to helping both customers and teammates succeed.

Cons

Significant operational gaps continue to impact efficiency and employee experience. Reporting systems and workforce planning frequently feel disconnected from the realities of day-to-day operations. Employees and leaders are often expected to be accountable for metrics without reliable reporting or clear guidance on how those metrics are measured. Workload distribution can feel inconsistent, creating an environment where some teams and managers become overextended while others are underutilized. This contributes to burnout, frustration, and a lack of confidence in operational decision-making.
