Pros

I've been in the tech space for a while, and transitioning to a Series A startup was a big leap. However, joining Navro has been the best career move I've ever made, and I'm very happy in my role. The product we're building is highly innovative and has the potential to transform the industry. But what truly sets Navro apart is the people. I work alongside some of the smartest individuals I've ever met, who are genuinely passionate about what they do. Their dedication and drive are contagious, making it a truly inspiring place to work. The recent Most Loved Workplaces award which Navro won is a testament to the sentiment within the company and the efforts at all levels to make Navro an environment where people can thrive. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role here is the opportunity to learn from colleagues with a wealth of experience. This has not only enhanced my business acumen but also pushed me to become more ambitious. I feel valued and trusted, and the hard work I put in is always noticed and appreciated. Beyond professional growth, the culture at Navro is exceptional. Kindness, empathy, and genuine honesty and transparency are not just posters on the wall—they're a part of our everyday interactions. The level of support and openness is something I've never seen before and certainly not the norm based on my experience. Contrary to the stereotypes and challenging my own biases about startups having a 'bro culture', my colleagues here are kind, funny, caring, and always willing to share their knowledge openly. The leadership team is there to support, unblock, and ensure that we're all successful. From the ground up, Navro fosters a supportive environment where everyone genuinely looks out for one another. If you find yourself struggling, use the support structures in place—they're there for a reason. Being part of Navro at this stage is a unique opportunity. It's rare to be involved in something so transformational, both in terms of product development and company culture. If you thrive in an environment where growth and discovery are paramount, and you want to be part of something groundbreaking, this is the place for you. Overall, I'm incredibly grateful for the chance to be part of such an amazing journey and highly recommend Navro to anyone with grit and determination looking for a challenging and rewarding experience.

Cons

No cons for me, more of an observation. This can be a demanding environment if you aren't accustomed or happy to give 100% for your entire working week. If you're just looking to draw a wage and this is just another job, then this isn't the right place. Navro is for those who are passionate about making a difference and willing to put in the effort to see that vision come to life. Admittedly, this environment isn't for everyone, and that's okay. Delivering excellence at pace isn't for everyone and your A-game is always expected. Every minute of every day is an opportunity to make progress. The expectations of you on a Friday at 4:30 are the same as on Monday morning. No-one is expected to work outsude hours as a norm, but there is a clear expectation that you are always doing your best and giving 100% Navro is for those who are passionate about making a difference and willing to put in the effort to see that vision come to life.

Pros

Remote work, colleagues are supportive, helpful, and easy to work with.

Cons

There is a noticeable lack of job security, as the company has gone through multiple rounds of redundancies. Management direction can sometimes feel inconsistent, with priorities shifting frequently. At times, senior management appears to become involved in lower-level business functions, including engineering practices, which can affect team autonomy and delivery. Compensation is below market rate, and there does not appear to be a regular annual salary review process.

Pros

There’s a lot of trust and freedom in how you work. You get plenty of space to make decisions, take initiative, and suggest new tools or ways of doing things. The company genuinely wants to build a strong culture — the People team puts effort into trainings that help managers grow as leaders and give better feedback. There’s also a clear focus on developing people and supporting those who want to improve in certain areas. The flexibility’s a big plus too — being able to work from abroad and spend time with family or your partner while keeping things running smoothly is awesome.

Cons

Sometimes it feels like the main focus is on hitting revenue targets (which is fair for a startup), but it can create quite a bit of pressure. Also, salary increases seem to happen more often in product and sales, which can feel a bit uneven across teams.
