A culture of complacency has set in, with the company resisting fresh perspectives or new ways of thinking. Certain departments are bogged down by pettiness, where individuals focus on enforcing flawed processes that add little value and make little sense to most of the team. Leadership across departments is weak, lacking vision or forward-looking strategy. The prevailing mindset is “do just enough to get by” and react to problems as they arise, rather than taking a proactive approach to prevent issues before they occur.
