Pros

New Perspective was a great place to work and gave you a lot of experience with different types of marketing. By joining New Perspective you'll be joining a group: -Who is passionate about what they do -Helpful co-workers who are always willing to teach/support you -Overall drive for client success from everyone on the team -Supportive leadership team that listens to the employee's needs

Cons

Due to the nature of being a marketing agency, this is an extremely fast-paced environment and you are sometimes stuck waiting on client dependency which pushes timelines and can make everyone's workload a lot larger at times.

Pros

- Passionate people: Unlike other agencies, New Perspective's team gets along and actually wants each other to succeed. Someone is always there to lend a helping hand. Your not a number, you're part of the family. - Build your own career: Do you love analytics? What about video? You have the opportunity to become a specialist and design your own path. - Mobility...sort of: I was hired as an intern and had the opportunity to explore every avenue of digital marketing. Once I became a jack-of-all-trades, I transformed into an account manager. The only problem is that the company is about 10 people so unless the leadership team adopts you, there's no where else to go. - Convenient location: Affordable area and easy commute. Rough day? You can walk to Chick-fil-A (or downstairs to the liquor store.) - Company culture is a huge deal

Cons

- Benefits: It's a small company outside of Boston, what do you expect? No matter where you are, the vacation and pay could always be better. - Micromanagement: There's always a lot of cooks in the kitchen, but it's an agency ran by the owner and his brother. It's hard to let go of your baby. - Either carefree or super stressful, there's no in between: You're on a tight schedule and you'll either be watching paint dry or non-stop working. But hey, #agencylife. The bright side is that unlike Boston agencies, there's a 90% chance you get to go home on time every day.
