Pros
Flexible scheduling and getting time off is super easy if you give about 3 weeks notice. Most of the coworkers have a great attitude and are enjoyable to work with. Managers listen and respond positively to team input. Upper managment listens too by doing a twice annual employee survey to see where things can be improved. Although not every request is approved, I have seen many changes happen within a short time after each survey. The pay is better than other similar retailers. It is easy to change positions within the company if you express interest in advancement and you are a dependable person and team player. You earn PTO even as a PT employee after you've been with the company for a certain number of hours. Raises are automatic.
Cons
You only get paid twice monthly. The website they post your schedule on isn't mobile optimized and is frustrating to use much of the time. Because this is retail, sometimes there is high turn over and we are understaffed which makes more work for everyone. If you don't have a good attitude and are a team player, this will be very frustrating for you. Also, you may have to work holidays and have a varying schedule. If you aren't flexible and want a set schedule, this type of job is not for you.
