OYO UK grew too fast from direction from global leaders without listening to people on the ground. Lack of communications and transparency to the people who were out there, giving blood sweat and tears to disrupt the hotel industry with what should have been if executed correctly and amazing partnership with independent hotels across the country. If you can't handle change OYO is not for you and although change was sometimes for the right reason it happened over night which meant lack of consistency and knowledge across multiple teams. Fighting Fires springs to mind!!! A little children's poem springs to mind... "When it was good it was very very good but when it was bad - it was almost wicked"
