The employee discount was good, especially with the recent change. It’s a good company to work for, very flexible hours. The workload is not hard, it’s just time consuming.
Cons
At the end of the day, corporate only cares about the opinion of the store manager because they don’t want to lose the one person who sold their soul to the company. Even then the opinion of the store manager is limited. Management acts like children, lack of communication, and laziness are large factors. When one person isn’t performing well, another is expected to carry the full burden. If you are a hard worker, expect to do all the work. If you are lazy, it is tolerated. Many store managers sit in the office and do “paperwork” or spend too much time doing the schedule. This may be the reason theft occurs frequently.
