Pros

- Colleagues that become friends - A truly supportive and genuine manager in Adam Ryding - Work events

Cons

- Earning potential has taken a dramatic downturn over the past 6 months since the new Head of Department has implemented unachievable, unrealistic targets. - Decisions across the entire client services floor are now being made by people with no idea. Gone are the days of keeping both clients and staff happy in equal measure. Now the ship is being driven by one person with a wolf-of-wallstreet mentality, and another whose sole focus is cutbacks. Staff satisfaction and customer experience are a thing of the past. - Role is getting more and more difficult due to the emergence of A.I, which is allowing clients to find a suitable alternative to our product at a fraction of the cost. Higher management do not want to hear this though. - Job security does not appear to be a valid concern to Higher Management, as we do not know where we stand from one month to the next. We are now being told that decisions are being made on a “week to week basis”. Hardly grounds for a happy workforce or a career. - Hard work and loyalty used to be rewarded. This no longer matters as long as you suck up to the right people.

Pros

My experience at PHMG has been such a fun and rewarding opportunity, especially for someone with little to no experience in sales. It’s a great place to learn, grow, and build confidence while being surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you succeed. The culture is one of my favorite parts. Everyone is very welcoming and approachable, always willing to answer questions or offer advice. Since it’s a great starting point for someone new to sales, you never feel like you’re figuring things out alone. The team is supportive, and there are so many opportunities to learn from the people around you. I’ve also really enjoyed the networking opportunities and getting to connect with so many different people across the company. PHMG does a great job creating a fun environment where people work hard but also enjoy what they do. Overall, it’s been an amazing place to start a sales career and build a strong foundation. The skills, relationships, and experience you gain here can set you up for success in future sales roles as well.

Cons

none! I loved my time here.

Pros

PHMG is a great place to breakout in a sales role and gain experience. They offer a 15 week training program called the Academy, where you get first hand coaching, product knowledge and training, and dive head first into an SDR role with constant feedback and support. You also get the commission you earn right away, with a lot of potential to earn extra cash and fun events such as President's club. I was able to attend after my first month and they really want you to experience the fun incentives. Once you graduate the Academy they move you over to a team on the senior sales floor where you still receive constant coaching and support. The team environment is motivating and keeps each day exciting. Everyone is always there to lift you up and keep pushing you to succeed. The culture and environment here is like no other and I was lucky enough to find some of my closest friends at this role. Definitely a work hard play hard mentality where we celebrate the small and big wins daily.

Cons

It is a grind, there are going to be hard days where motivation is hard. It is very metrics focused and you will be cold-calling all day everyday. Kind of the typical entry level role that comes with sales.
