Pros

I was given interviews and access to projects which I would never have accessed myself. The development coach is great, albeit overwhelmed by lack of resources.

Cons

From the beginning of the recruitment process to being hired, the offering 'evolved' - in that I was sold one thing, then offered another when it came to the contract. Once you are employed within Pareto, all communication with the head of the programme ceases and I didn't receive any of the support promised for ~6 months. The certifications which you receive in your initial training are in name only, since the 'accelerated learning trajectory' essentially amounts to only learning what you need to pass the tests - not much use for real work scenarios. The contract is geared to 'trap' people once the are hired, with the emphasis on scaring people away from leaving as opposed to incentivising colleagues to stay. The salary is abysmal compared to what is charged for your services as a consultant - you receive around a third of what Pareto is paid for your work.
