Pros

Great Pay and Strong Support for High Performers Paylocity offers excellent compensation for top-performing sales reps. The generous bonuses, incentive programs, and President’s Club trips help offset the challenges of the role. Leadership is supportive, which makes a big difference in a high-pressure environment. The company provides a robust benefits package with a good amount of PTO, contributing to a solid work/life balance — especially when compared to other HCM companies. We get to sell a superior product. Paylocity consistently invests in both its technology and its people, which makes it easier to believe in what we’re selling.

Cons

Every job has its good days and bad days. Sales can be a grind at times — high expectations, lots of pressure, and constant performance metrics. It’s not for everyone, and the role definitely requires thick skin and resilience. The rewards and support can make it worthwhile.

Pros

Work remote. Fantastic leaders, Definitely a place I have enjoyed working.

Cons

Pay is slightly less than competitors but work life balance and culture make up for it.

Pros

Teammate relationships during difficult days.

Cons

Paying out executive bonuses and Sr leaders while mid-level and lower employees had their bonus removed and their stock options taken away. This company is the epitome of making the rich richer while allowing the employees who are busting their bottoms to drown without monetary compensation. It was heartbreaking for me to see my team unable to receive any bonus monies while our executives received millions even though the decision they made resulted in the stock price dropping by over $100.
