Pros

The people are GREAT - hardworking and kind. It's a grind and you'll wear a lot of hats but you'll learn a lot.

Cons

If you report to the CMO you're in for a bad time. Not a lot of budget.

Pros

The people, the team, and the culture are super strong. Cross-functional teamwork is fully aligned and engaged. Brand awareness and community engagement are incredible and the continued growth is outstanding. Growth is aligned with progress and your desire to grow. We have had people start as interns and become Sr. Managers running a team and team members come right out of college and turn into JR Art Directors. Open communication is always welcomed and encouraged. You will always have a voice. 200% Socially engaged! PO was the first acne skinpositive, all inclusive skincare, gender nuteral brand to ever launch, and to launch at Sephora. We take pride in being LGBTQAI+ founded and encourage our team to be socially concious, menatl health aware and planet protective.

Cons

PO is still a small company and we are all hands on deck most of the time, so fast-paced for some people is not a good thing it is a con. If you are not proactive and need hand-holding then PO would be a con. If you dont like teamwork and want to work in a silo then PO would be a con. If you dont like open and honest team communication then PO would be a con.

Pros

Great employees Management that is passionate and driven Benefits and perks (great health insurance, free monthly product stipend, etc.) Opportunities for advancement

Cons

Not many cons to mention. Not everything is perfect, but there's a lot of heart in this company. I've really enjoyed being a part of a start up that is growing so quickly. Sometimes that kind of growth requires you to put in some extra hours or to assist with projects that aren't perfectly outlined in your job description, but I really enjoy that kind of excitement and "all hands on deck" mentality.
