At Pearl Academy, performance, outcomes, and student impact are non-negotiable. Suggesting that productivity isn’t valued or that success depends on proximity to leadership does not reflect how the organisation operates. Our processes around goal setting, performance reviews, and promotions are structured, documented, and increasingly system-driven to ensure fairness and accountability.
We also take strong exception to the claims of nepotism and favouritism. Hiring, evaluations, and growth decisions follow defined criteria and involve multiple stakeholders to avoid bias. While no organisation is immune to perceptions, broad generalisations like these don’t align with the systems we have in place.
On leadership clarity, Pearl has continued to evolve with a clear long-term direction aligned to student outcomes, industry relevance, and future-ready education. Change, when it happens, is intentional and driven by external realities, not confusion.
That said, we do acknowledge that individual experiences can vary, and if something felt misaligned during your time here, that’s unfortunate. We continuously work on strengthening communication and managerial capability to ensure consistency across teams.
