Hi there, thanks for sharing your thoughts, and we are sorry you didn’t feel able to raise these while you were a colleague within TK, either through your line manager, our bi-annual engagement survey, or to your HRBP. Feedback is hugely valuable, and we are committed to driving change, improving the employee experience, customer satisfaction, and TK success. We acknowledge that your perspective of TK isn’t particularly positive, and we’d like to share some information with you, as, unfortunately, there are some factual inaccuracies in your feedback. We’d like you to know these so that your understanding of what’s happening here is reflective of TK.
The company remains financially stable and stands apart from others in the industry by not resorting to layoffs. In fact, they continue to expand their workforce, as evidenced by the ongoing hiring initiatives showcased on their website.
It is inaccurate to claim that commissions are not awarded based on performance. Quite the contrary, the US team has witnessed numerous instances of over-achievers receiving well-deserved commissions. The company consistently fulfils its commitment to compensate employees with commission payouts upon customer rollouts.
We benchmark our salaries against the market on a regular basis to ensure we are rewarding our teams fairly and equitably in the industry, using that benchmark during our yearly compensation review. We also hold internal performance and salary reviews to drive meritocracy in line with our performance philosophy. It is incorrect that no salary increases were offered in the US; for obvious reasons, we cannot share the details, but salary increases (and several promotions) have been offered in the US throughout 2023 to date.
We have ‘get together’ budgets for all teams in all locations, as well as an annual summer party where our global teams get together, usually in Barcelona, to learn, connect, and celebrate our successes as a company
At TK, we believe in the power of ‘in real life’. Our company mission is firmly rooted in this belief, and the way we work is aligned with that. All colleagues have the option of working 2 days at home, as well as a work-from-anywhere option for up to 4 weeks per year for all colleagues.
Our commission scheme has evolved to focus on realised revenue; we are sure that everyone can agree that Sales targets and commissions are not feasible unless they drive revenue. The rollout of any evolution has included communication and training for all teams to understand how they are targeted. We encourage any colleagues to ask questions if targets and commissions are unclear.
Leads are managed on a ‘round robin’ system and will be allocated based on distributing value equally amongst the team members to support their target achievement.
We hope this shed’s some light on how we operate here at TK, and we wish you well in the future.
