Pros
The best part about working at Ping Identity is, without a doubt, the people and the culture. There's a set of strong, shared principles that isn't just on a poster on the wall; it genuinely guides day-to-day collaboration and decision-making. The environment is incredibly welcoming, supportive, and collaborative, which makes coming to work a positive experience. What stood out to me from the very beginning was the company's hiring philosophy. During my interview and onboarding process, it was clear that Ping prioritizes cultural fit and a candidate's potential. They are far more interested in finding good people who align with their values than simply checking a box for a specific technical background. I joined the team without extensive IAM (Identity and Access Management) experience, and it was never treated as a deficit. Instead, the focus was on my ability to learn and grow, with the full support of the entire team.
Cons
It's genuinely difficult to identify significant cons. Perhaps as the company continues to scale, there will be challenges in maintaining such a tight-knit culture, but the leadership seems very aware and protective of it.
