Pros

I have been part of the “Pink” family for more than 5 years. Through amazing coaching/mentoring, dedication, and my own hard work, I have been able to grow within the organization. I started my journey at Pink Elephant in a junior position, and now I’m thriving in a successful management role. The nature of our business is very exciting, and we work in a fast-paced, competitive world. Our office culture is supportive, and we pride ourselves on balancing our “business” side with our “fun” side. I have been given many opportunities to learn about not only our very valuable training certifications, but also the “ins-and-outs” of how a successful business operation is run. I would never have been afforded these types of opportunities at another organization. In my opinion, the negative comments being written here on Glassdoor are all from disgruntled past employees who are using this forum to vent as part of their own negative agenda. They are tainted due to being let go from the Pink Elephant, either due to their own lack of skills/competencies, or due to required structural reorganization. These are not easy decisions to make, but absolutely necessary to strengthen our performance and capabilities. The truth is that there are many happy “Pinkers” who have been employed for 5 years, 10 years, even 20+ years! We’ve had a high level of success over the past 26 years because of our relentless pursuit of excellence in everything we do, and our deep passion and desire to make a positive difference in the IT industry. A Gung Ho! Spirit is evident with all employees who stay – certainly not with those who leave. This is a very exciting time to be working at Pink Elephant , and I am very inspired and energized by the possibilities that lie ahead.

Cons

This is not the right environment for you to work at if you have a negative attitude, or if you are not interested in engaging in revenue generating activities. With a "can-do" attitude and a willingness to step up to the plate with new & creative ideas, everyone has an opportunity to be successful!

Pros

I loved working with my co-workers, customers and truly enjoyed the consulting and training work I delivered.

Cons

Inconsistent communication from the senior leadership team. Immediate manager was great to work for.

Thanks for the positive comments. Regarding the "inconsistent communication" - thanks for pointing that out also. Providing honest and accurate information is one of the most important activities for a leader, and when we fall short it can be a real de-motivator. Sometimes we might think we've done a good job of keeping people up-to-date with important news and direction, but the proof of the pudding is how people react. Clearly you felt we have fallen short at times. Sorry - we will try to improve. Good luck in your future endeavours!

Pros

Good job just if you are a teen and have the hours to work. Manager is super nice. Decent scheduling. Biggest + is tips, normally range from $2-30 A day.

Cons

Pay is bad They refuse to let you work over 40hrs/week 5-7hr shifts and they will send you home if labour's high so it makes it hard to even get 30hrs/week. Open from 8am-7pm so hours are odd Also you don't get rewarded for going the extra mile, the people sitting on their phone get payed just as much or more then you do.
