Good culture, bad projects - Risk and Compliance Consultant Protiviti Employee Review

Pros

As a small, private company you get to move up quickly. Work life balance is great, pay is in range with other consulting firms.

Cons

As a less well known company, it's harder to score big or interesting projects. Those projects usually go to a Big 4 Advisory or Big 3 Consulting, or even just more well known consulting firms. The recent graduates are from average universities, and overall the office is complacent with where they are within the firm.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Had I been aware of this feedback while you were still with the firm, I would have encouraged you to get involved in your local office as we have committees where we provide opportunities for you to get involved and make a difference. I would also have encouraged you to reach out to your Resource Management contact and your career advisor to get a better understanding of the diversity of projects Protiviti offers. We are always looking for ways to innovate and improve as we work towards becoming a Premier Risk Consulting firm. We are continuing to grow and shape our organization’s future, and I look forward to the contributions that our people at all levels make towards that effort. Best of luck in your future endeavors and thank you again for providing this insight.

Pros

Compared to other consulting firms, the flexibility in the management here has been amazing. In my experience, teams do whatever they can to get the job done but also acknowledge that we have lives outside of work and are accommodating to that.

Cons

Pay is not competitive compared to other consulting firms and leadership is not as innovative as they could be.
