Pros
The company is currently going through changes since Sarbanes-Oxley efforts are going internal. There are a lot of new projects coming up and its exciting to see these things happen. Apparently my colleagues have wanted non-SOX projects for quite some time now, but given our current circumstances (bad economy, people bringing internal auditors to their companies), we're forced into it. I strongly believe management is doing a great job at getting these new niches and bringing in the projects that we desire. Politics at the company don't affect us (not at our office anyway). Management is open to talking to us, which is rare at other companies.
Cons
Lately there have been a number of lay-offs across the board. Obviously the current economy has something to do with it. However, management did not do a very good job at communicating these issues to us. They would tell us that things are going well, and nothing is wrong, but in actuality people are disappearing from the office and no-one says a word. There is definitely some drama occurring at our local offices as well, but that can be said at any company. With that in mind, it's not as bad as I've seen at other companies, but it does exist.
