Pros
I had worked in finance before and when I joined Pru it was a great company with plenty of career choices. I quickly moved around all London offices and was promoted within a year of joining. although I had seen and spoke to people who were waiting many years for a chance and did not receive it. great pension and private insurance scheme also helped. also good graduate scheme but low pay.
Cons
Cuts! with any company cuts are always expected. Pru was no different. however, it went from a happy environment to miserable. A lot of people left and more were following. No real drive from senior management to reassure staff and keep moral high. shame to say the glossy work and benefit scheme offered cannot stop the mass exodus.
