Company went through a rough patch in January with a reduction following overhiring in 2024 (many reviews here reflect this). Now we’re back in growth mode with lessons learned and significant new capital raised.

Even though we were all remote, the engineering team felt like a family. We had incredible mentors, did interesting, impactful work, and had a lot of fun doing it. I feel very grateful to have had the opportunity.

About 40% of the engineering team was laid off with zero notice, a week before Christmas. Everything had seemed like it was going great, and it seemed like we had plenty of runway, so we were caught totally off guard.
