Pros
The main pro is the coworkers. It used to be the flexibility...but that is now gone.
Cons
Leadership is very toxic and dishonest. The baby-voiced CEO and her leaders have destroyed what was once an awesome flexible culture by removing the full remote work option and failing to provide the REAL reason why. The decision seem to be made overnight because days before it happened, our VPs were saying PSE would remain fully remote and "you can live anywhere in Washington...we are even considering allowing people to live in Idaho and Oregon". The issue really isn't whether we are remote or in office...it is the dishonesty of the leadership which has done damage to the morale. It seems more politically motivated or the need to control the worker bees. Whatever is going on is suspicious. Also, it is completely disgusting that the CEO gave herself a $4M bonus while cutting back our measly annual bonuses. Personally, I would not be able to look at myself in the mirror if I did that to my employees. The leadership at PSE cannot leave soon enough.
