Pros

Good benefits. Can't think of any more benefits there.

Cons

You will be stuck in one position for 3 years or over (many people work for 10-20 years in one position). There is an unwritten rule in the bank -- you are not allowed to apply or will not be considered before you serve a minimum term of 3 years, even if you are highly qualified. The salary is dismal, the benefits are okay though. Pressure is up and targets get higher and higher every year. If the manager doesn't like you, you won't be rated as top performer and won't get your annual bonus. Lots of politics and BS in the bank. Think twice before joining...

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
