Pros

- Networking - Skills obtained (when you are allowed, not able, to develop) - Large company with a lot of groups to move around in - Best FI to have on a resume

Cons

- Extremely poor management (yes, everyone in every job complains about management but RBC really takes the cake) - Lowest paid in the financial industry - Minimal communication from managers to staff and managers to managers for that matter - Expected to perform at an "outstanding" level consistently however when rated on performance each quarter they will find reasons to rate you as just meeting your benchmarks. - If you raise concerns regarding your workplace, peers, managers you are immediately "black listed" although upper management will deny this is true. Something to note, I am upper management here and I convince myself every morning to get out of bed to come to work. I am not proud of how I am told to conduct business with peers/staff.

Excellent collaboration between infrastructure and incident management teams; vendor coordination is efficient. Competitive compensation and benefits package, including solid health coverage and retirement matching.

Cons

Workload spikes during major incidents can challenge work-life balance, especially when on-call.

Pros

Riverside around WTC is pretty nice

Cons

OMG the worst company I've ever been. There are a lot of small groups inside the department, and most of them are mean and rude.
