Pros
The most talented people I've ever worked with.
Cons
Company has undergone multiple restructures in recent years, resulting in the loss of many experienced female employees and a noticeable decline in morale. The culture feels very different from what it once was, and there appears to be a growing disconnect between senior leadership and employees. Career progression has become more limited, with roles increasingly consolidated despite messaging around above-market remuneration. There is also a growing sense of role instability as REA continues to expand its offshore operating model. Someone was made redundant 6 months into their role, which is one of the sadder stories during the most recent restructure. During restructures, redeployment processes can feel opaque and employees may have limited consultation about changes to their roles or career paths. REA still has many exceptionally talented people, but in my experience the organisation has lost some of the culture and energy that previously made it such a great place to work.
