Pros
The people are great, career progression is there but you will have to work very hard for it. Work is relativly varied and interesting.
Cons
- Oxford is expensive! - Minimal benefits compared other games companies. No bonuses, parking, healthcare/ dental, salary reviews, or any performance review (this depends on what department your in). - Many people who work in the studio are very negative about the working conditions. - A lot of the upper management are very stuck in their ways and unfortunately just seem to be 'yes men' for the Kingsley's - HR seems to be ineffective to sort out any mayor issues, it seems they prefer to just wait and hope the situation either goes away or the person leaves. - Employees don't seem to be respected. Mid level new starters are employed on a higher salary than the seniors, department heads get preferential treatment, one rule for them and other rules for everyone else.
