Pros

You may meet nice people. Free lunch.

Cons

Work in-office. Management may backstab you because they are overworked. People have to cry and kiss up to be heard.

Relay Payments Response
4mo
Relay is a values-driven organization, and we invest heavily in creating clear, accessible channels for feedback and dialogue. Expectations around communication, trust, and accountability are widely discussed and reinforced, and we encourage team members to raise concerns directly through the many formal and informal avenues available. Open communication is a shared responsibility, and it’s important to us that feedback is voiced in real time so it can be addressed. Our in-office, fast-paced environment is intentional and central to how we collaborate and move quickly as a company. We recognize that this type of environment isn’t the right fit for everyone, and that’s okay. We aim to be transparent about how we work so people can make the best choice for themselves. Best of luck in your next chapter.

Pros

There is nothing worth mentioning

Cons

- Relay Payments is one of the most unhealthy and chaotic environments I have ever worked in - Turnover is extreme, with employees constantly coming and going in a short time - New hires disappear withing weeks as if they were never there - The "owner" title feels misleading, as it mostly translates to higher pressure, higher targets, and more responsibility with little return - Plans constantly change without warning - Compensations shifts unpredictably, making it difficult to trust what is promised -Deals fall apart for unclear reasons with little to no explanation - Clear answers and transparency are rarely provided - There is no real stability or path for growth, only constant scrambling to keep up with nonstop change
