Pros
The people who can put up with everything and choose to stay are really great, flexible workers, who try to support each other through the crazy unstable mess that comes down the pipe day by day. High turn over rate means many opportunities for advancement, should you choose to stay. Lots of lip service about becoming a better company, and occasional bursts of free mugs or something, but little has improved as far as high ups caring (as they say they do) about the average employee in the years I've been here.
Cons
The corporate culture of the inflight department is to always be putting out fires rather than planning ahead. Poor employees never are let go, excellent employees are overworked (and under recognized) to compensate. Management is never groomed to become better leaders. Management doesn't trust employees to do as they are asked to do, the culture is distrustful. It feels like you have to take care of your own skin because no one else will.
