Pros
The company is a smaller airline so you regularly work with people you know or have met before. The company has a great familial feeling to it because everyone seems to know each other. In addition, because it is a regional airline you get the flying benefits of all of the mainline airlines you would be representing-American, Delta, and United.
Cons
Starting pay is incredibly difficult to live on without a second income or another means of making extra money. You have a guaranteed number of hours in a month, but as a single individual who has student loans and bills to pay alone I️ am glad I had such a savings from previous employment because there is no extra money to put towards savings. Once you are eventually off of reserve as your seniority goes up and have a regular schedule you have more opportunity to fly more hours and earn more money.
