Pros
A few senior techs were helpful but they were stretched thin.
Cons
Terrible training - most of the time I was left on my own with no help or little instruction. When I asked questions I was just ignored. And would be constantly cleaning other people’s mess even for weeks at a time all I would do was clean the work shop. No Real Progression - they say it’s an apprenticeship but it’s just cheap labour for them with no focus on development as they can’t retain any staff. Disorganised management - no clear direction at all last minute changes and dodgy work in order to hit thin delivery times to the customer. Overworked - constantly doing multiple people’s jobs and handovers constantly cleaning other people’s mess when they are stood around doing nothing. And management doesn’t seem to care as an Apprentice ur kinda just told to accept it. Sad Pay - the pay Rygor offers its apprentice is so bad they offer the minimum when the work out put is the maximum compared to every other place I switched to a different dealership and get substantially more money in the same position with better quality work.
