Pros
SAIC tries to do the right thing most of the time. They provide a very flexible work environment in our location. I have never felt pressured to do anything unethical. They are a fairly stable employer, favoring no raises as opposed to layoffs. They are trying to expand their commercial business. Most people have either been here a year or 10 years. Seems that there is some self selection fairly early on and people either love it or leave.
Cons
Raises are minimal, if anything the last few years. SAIC's pay is a little below average compared to other companies. Several times I have wondered if events played out a certain way because I was female, but nothing horrible. You have to do your own career planning because management would love for you to just stay in the same position forever.
