Pros
1. If nightlife is you're lifestyle, this is where you want to be. 2. Networking opportunities are endless. 3. Great coworkers (for the most part). 4. Great benefits (health insurance, BMW discount, ticketsatwork.com, and many others). 5. Staff cafeteria has actual food and it's great for cafeteria standards. 6. One member of direct upper echelon management is direct, straight forward, yet compassionate and continues to drive you in the right direction. The BAD: Another is very biased and a "flip-flop" while the other is a mix of both. 7. Employee parking lot is located conveniently across the street.
Cons
1. Poor compensation compared to the rest of the competition. VERY POOR. 2. Not all but few members of the management, upper echelon staff, along with employee "favorites" exhibit a clique-like relationship which affects the morale for the rest of the team. 3. Circles seem to be a theme here. One boss says one thing, the other will say another, and it goes around and around. No one is ever on the same page. 4. The police exist to enforce the law yet they flip on their cherry tops and break the law not to mention police brutality. The same irony exists within the management, applicable to few members as well as upper echelon staff and their favorites and it is bestowed upon the rest of the team. 5. Expectations are way too high for the brand new nightclubs in a brand new hotel located way too far from the Strip. 6. If nightclub requirements aren't met, you're job security is very low. Refer to the point made in #5 and you would understand. 7. Management style - instilling fear, job security threats, verbal attacks at both a professional level (if there is even such a thing) and personal level.
