Pros
There were some good times had on the occasions where we had in-office happy hours or barbecues. Also, a few snacks/drinks were provided to get you somewhat energized throughout the day. This opportunity also gave me the awareness to sniff out incompetent managers.
Cons
The biggest issues arise from the management structure. The managers think they know how to manage effectively, but prove to be so ignorant that they don't realize they are creating a stagnant culture. Managers are in their office singing and playing guitar instead of helping drive the company to greater success. And this all boils down to upper management, who are blinded by their egos, and rarely listen to the lower-level employees. Otherwise, there is no cohesion between workers, and hardly any transparency between the company and the workers. For example, the higher-ups go on business trips, and will only mention the results if something positive came out of the meetings. Another example is the "investors" have the same product as SaaS Markets, but labeled something completely different, and no answer as to why our "investors" are competing in our space is given.
