Pros

Decent pay, on the road you can sort of "be your own boss" as long as you get all of your jobs done in a timely manner for the day.

Cons

Poor management. Lack of communication between shop and dispatch/warehouse. Job routing is poor, often overbooked which leads to poor customer relations and many complaints. Management only cares about numbers. They don't care about the absurd amount of work distributed or the toll it takes on technicians' bodies. Parts are still wrong or damaged quite often. Can be a very frustrating job, not knowing how much work you'll get each day or where they'll be sending you to work out of. Seems to either be feast or famine for the work load, not too often a "normal" or decent amount of work. Bonuses are very hard to come by and false surveys are impossible to get removed by management. It's obviously a very high bar that's meant to be almost impossible to reach.

Pros

Working hours, easy to learn, great environment.

Cons

The 1 minute late, rule. If you’re ONE minute late from break, lunch, or even clocking in.. it counts toward your “infractions”. You can only get 3 for the first 60 days. Even if your wifi goes out, you get sick.. anything. It counts.

Pros

Tons of extra overtime pay, opportunity for your pay to change by 5 or 10 percent in either direction twice a year, completely free from corporate communication, bonuses will be held and never paid out so you dont have to worry about saving it yourself! Cheers to the belron "thank you" (more like a belron "screw you") they gave us years ago and I never saw a dime of before I left.

Cons

Surprise! Six day weeks. Maybe 7 we dont know. Whoops all loaned out to other shops, little to no warning or planning You dont matter to anyone in your chain of command They want you to feel like you can talk to them.. but not to actually do it. No follow up from management, everything is out of their hands and yadda yadda yadda
