Pros
- nice, young, friendly colleagues - good opportunities to learn building a product - passionate CEO
Cons
Disclaimer: Saleswhale was fine in the earlier days in 2019. We had a goal, we had a plan. Then everything started to fall apart post Series A (middle of 2019), and even worse after COVID hit. - CEO changes his mind about coy direction every other month, forcing his ideas on people with endless rants on Slack. Engineers are just building whatever they are told to build without really knowing why. - No management team present. CEO had 4 VPs at one point. However within a year, all 4 VPs gave up, quit, or got fired. Now CEO is pretty much running it like a dictatorship - his way or the highway. - No company direction - people feel they are just working a month at a time without know the overarching goals/strategy (if any)
