      Pros

      You will work with great upper midwestern people. You will have support from your immediate leadership. In operations a lot of the day to day things managers at smaller companies have to deal with are taken care of by entire departments for you.

      Cons

      Upper management has suddenly gone lean. Our numbers aren't great. The company is very, very silo'd, meaning say maintenance does what they do with zero communication to operations. You really have to know someone who knows someone to get some things done. You will feel like there is zero accountability between departments.

      Pros

      Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

      Cons

      $12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
