Never met the owner which was disappointing

It’s a safe space for the gay community. Generally you’ll have pretty good coworkers.

Hours are largely not guaranteed, even to full time staff. You will suddenly have them cut by management. On the flip side, when it’s busy, you are expected to stay as long as is necessary to produce the cupcakes they demand, sometimes 14 hours per day. There is clear favoritism.
