Pros

- Excellent Opportunities for Growth - was promoted 3 times in 18 months, not unheard of to move quickly if you apply yourself, immerse yourself in the industry/infosec, and SecureWorks - Industry leading services aid - PLETHORA of training - both upfront and continued. - Willing to take the right personality, regardless of background, and mold them into a Security Advisor through 2+ years training for those passionate and driven - Able to move around within SecureWorks - technical, sales, channel, account management, advisor, researcher and more. If you have the drive and put in the work the sky is limit. - Note on those who gave SecureWorks a "negative" rating: They provide employees EVERY POSSIBLE AVENUE FOR SUCCESS. For some, they want a 9-5 and get paid without ever learning the business or evolving their skillset. By no means a sweatshop, you make your own hours and structure your own day - remote opportunities upon advancement passed inside sales

Cons

- Compensation GROWTH is a problems, but that is because of Dell - not SecureWorks. Initial Base is very competitive, commission is great. - Stress, but in sales stress is a byproduct of every job - Legal can be a headache and a roadblock for some deals - Other Dell Services don't always play nice with SecureWorks, seeing SecureWorks as a threat and taking away business from them - Dell doesnt have a great understanding of SecureWorks, can be difficult to leverage Dell Account Executives as a way into customers - Costs on certain services (few) are non-competitive to small organizations - on that note, services are world class and unparalleled in the security industry, so difficult to scale that down to very small organizations without even an IT Staff
