Pros

Be a part of a large company that so many people respect and fawn over and see campaigns come to life. Half-day Fridays if there's no work to complete. Some days have little work, but other days are long, so it balances out. Easy access office that is right on Market Street in the middle of FiDi. There are two locations, depending on job title and department; both offices are between Montgomery and Embarcadero Stations.

Cons

Worked at corporate and saw some of the chaos. While a majority can complete their job, there are quite a few incompetent people who don't know how to do their job properly, or they want to fix something which adds unnecessary additional work to people's workload. This slows things down, creating a cycle of constant communication asking on the status, leading to late projects that are over-budget and have mistakes. Work is cleanly divided where asking someone to do something is required, even if you can do it yourself and having to wait for the work to be done before moving on to the next step, creating a clog in the pipeline; probably ensures that everybody has work to do. Contractors don't get access to the employee discounts. Weekly team budget is slim and snacks are gone within the first hour. Patronizing and condescending supervisors

Pros

fun getting gratis and hosting in-store events, meeting brand ambassadors/managers, socializing with clients

Cons

manager created a weird environment -- coaching moments were sometimes extremely aggressive for a retail environment; strict on not applying makeup to clients unless they purchase a service. once made me move from a disabled client quickly because I was "spending too much time with them" and to further boost the store sales. felt extremely unethical.
