Pros

I wish I had anything good to say.

Cons

Immaturity, Lack of professionalism, Promotions without merit, Cronyism ...says it all about Kirkland office. Sincere advice stay away unless you have no other job offer. Performance reviews are not documented, no review to begin with. Having said that an employee's bonus and growth is at the mercy of his/her manager. Hard work, performance and deliverables won't work here. Cloud Infra org was once an inspiring, motivating and rewarding environment when it was lead by Sridhar Chandrashekar (also former VP/GM of Cloud Infra and ITOM). He had a progressive vision, driven and hard working person. Lots was accomplished during his time. Since he left its a obnoxious place to work. Cloud Infra Automation org under the current leadership of a Sr. Director, what you'll experience - no transparency, lack of integrity, a toxic management culture of bullying and harassing. Absolutely demotivating work environment. Do yourself a favor, believe the bad reviews written here, its all true. Trust when some reviewers here have mentioned that the India office guy in the cap, director of cloud infra, is a big jerk. After all complaints his behavior is acceptable by his boss who sits in Kirkland... why because he is a BIGGER JERK and a egocentric fraud.

Pros

Free snacks Leadership opportunities Stable work given current ai market You can get challenging engaging work but it comes at the cost of putting in extra hours Smart and helpful people work here

Cons

Work can a bit boring if not on something cutting edge Dev experience is pretty bad, moving xml files around that contain the actual code, proprietary low/no code platform to build products Full of Indians, diversity is a joke in engineering. It feels like a cost cutting measure more than anything else tbh Very much a checkbox mentality when building products instead of long term thinking with quality and usability Doubts about upper leaderships navigation during rise of ai Pay is nothing near what it should be, especially after stock dropped almost 40% yoy Certain internal processes are difficult for no other reason than we made them like that, lots of reaching out to people for rqts, signoffs, adjustments etc
