Pros
Work/Life Balance -We definitely do not practice 996 here, we get ample amount of leave, and follow all bank holidays too, but on the rare occasion that something breaks, we all jump in and fix it. As an employee I don't see this as extra work, it's just part and parcel of working in a startup. Culture & Values -We are truly a dynamic team, we've got representatives from all over the world, Singapore, New Zealand, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Philippines, England, Germany, Taiwan, China. -We form our own culture, and we work very well together, I believe this is one of the reasons why we have been successful as a company. -Our values are simple, we put our customers right at the top, and everything that we do has to add value and contribute to this. Career Opportunities -Great! partly because it's a startup, constant learning and jumping in to help each other obviously provides a lot of valuable experience, but the company has also been supportive of us, sponsoring us to take up professional certificate courses. Compensations & Benefits -Well, we all know the tradeoffs of working in a startup, high risk, great learning curve, and not the highest salaries. -That said, the company does try to provide additional compensations and benefits whenever they can, and I have no complains here. Senior Management -The best part about the company. I strongly believe that a company is the C-level personal of the company, and I joined this company because I have full trust and respect in the C-level personal running the company.
Cons
Usual StartUp issues: -Resources are finite, everyone in the team needs to be a team player and contribute their part. It becomes very painful when a team player does not do their part, and the rest of us have to pick up the pieces.
