Pros

Work/Life Balance -We definitely do not practice 996 here, we get ample amount of leave, and follow all bank holidays too, but on the rare occasion that something breaks, we all jump in and fix it. As an employee I don't see this as extra work, it's just part and parcel of working in a startup. Culture & Values -We are truly a dynamic team, we've got representatives from all over the world, Singapore, New Zealand, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Philippines, England, Germany, Taiwan, China. -We form our own culture, and we work very well together, I believe this is one of the reasons why we have been successful as a company. -Our values are simple, we put our customers right at the top, and everything that we do has to add value and contribute to this. Career Opportunities -Great! partly because it's a startup, constant learning and jumping in to help each other obviously provides a lot of valuable experience, but the company has also been supportive of us, sponsoring us to take up professional certificate courses. Compensations & Benefits -Well, we all know the tradeoffs of working in a startup, high risk, great learning curve, and not the highest salaries. -That said, the company does try to provide additional compensations and benefits whenever they can, and I have no complains here. Senior Management -The best part about the company. I strongly believe that a company is the C-level personal of the company, and I joined this company because I have full trust and respect in the C-level personal running the company.

Cons

Usual StartUp issues: -Resources are finite, everyone in the team needs to be a team player and contribute their part. It becomes very painful when a team player does not do their part, and the rest of us have to pick up the pieces.

Pros

I have been with this company now for more than 2 years. It’s a great team which works at a fast pace & in a collaborative manner across functions to delivered stated goals. Management team sets a culture high on integrity & equal opportunities mindset. A company that is headed towards a very bright future.

Cons

Nothing really. It’s a young company hence requires employees to thrive on an adaptive & committed mindset. So not recommended for the faint hearted.

Pros

there is nothing good for the staff!

Cons

Shopmatic acquired local software-as-a-service firm CombineSell. - Toxic workplace (join at your own risk!) - High turnover rate even at the Management Level (all middle management change like nobody business) - High turnover rate in Business Development team and Account Management team - KAMs are overloaded with clients/ accounts - No OT pay and AWS - No time-off even you work extra hours - Special campaign days, you need to work too! and not getting paid! - When you are on leave, you are still required to attend to the clients under your care and need to reply to work matters - Management has no clear directions - Terminated employees without valid reasons - Underpaid for the work you have done - Jokes on this company that don't even have the basic office essentials such as Microsoft Office - Provided lousy company laptop No support for the Combinesell team (poor salaries, no raises, no new hires for much needed functions, no support from managers). Middle management changes so often, alot of time is wasted on unnecessary new processes (without learning anything from old processes), direction changes often too so alot of work is wasted. Account managers are expected to figure out the business model for the company and no training or proper guidance is given. Yet when something goes wrong, managers will turn around and blame the account manager or shirk responsibility. Poor service delivered to the clients and clients are all very unhappy with Combinesell. Be prepared to bear the brunt of customers' anger and frustration. If you care about your mental health and welfare, do not join this company. No room for career progression or any appreciation for employees.
