Pros

The culture is great, until it’s not. They care, until they don’t. You are valued, until you aren’t.

Cons

They recruit for a position, make you go through an exhaustive interview process only to decide months later they can’t support the position anymore and you are gone. What they think is transparency is in reality blatant dishonesty. Leaders either don’t understand or just don’t care about their responsibility for people’s livelihoods. Maybe it’s the growing pains of immaturity or inexperience but these actions don’t align with the culture and values that they go on and on and on about.

Pros

- Great Leaders: Transparent, present, and hard working - Competitive compensation - A TON of momentum within the company

Cons

- Remote culture makes it hard to bond - Small company: A lot of scrappiness with softwares for your day to day, so you don't always have the best in class tools to succeed.

Pros

- Little to no micromanagement - There are a handful of decent people who work there - Traveling on the company's dime is a nice perk - In theory, the values are solid.

Cons

- If you aren't on the sales team, the company truly does not care about you. - Tech-bro culture - Unrealistic expectations and goals (unless you are on the sales team) - Not Shopmonkey's fault, but the customer base can be volatile and difficult to work with.
