Pros

Good product, frequent feature updates, free snacks, some nice people, big-name clients

Cons

Zero trust in employees, employees have no autonomy over their schedule, strict return to office, working hours, and remote work policy and borderline bullying if you don't adhere to them, no flexibility for things going on in your personal life. The CEO doesn't seem to care about what employees want. During all hands meetings when people ask questions about the return to office policy his answer was if you don't like it you can leave. Swears all the time, tells us we're doing great yet there are layoffs every quarter, no job security. I can't even tell you how many times teams and accounts have been restructured. And done with no input from the teams that are impacted by them. People being forced into roles completely different than what they were hired to do and if you push back you get let go. Management doesn't seem to know what they're doing and there's no support for where you want to take your career. If you don't participate in social activities it's counted against you. I was so excited when I joined based on what I knew of Similarweb and their painting the picture of this progressive, amazing place to work where you can excel in your career and make a lot of money doing so and have been very disappointed by how the company is actually run and the way employees are treated. If I had known it would have been like this I would have stayed at my last company.

Pros

Awesome product, competitive comp, large market and good internal culture with solid middle leadership.

Cons

Top leadership can sometimes be seen as reactionary and removed from the market and customers. They are great with product but not necessarily with GTM or investing in growth broadly.
