Pros
Smarp is an organization where, if you are willing, you have a real opportunity to make a difference. Thoughts, ideas, and concepts are respected and, if they make sense, often get executed on. The founders and senior management are truly passionate about the business and industry that Smarp operates in, which translates into a very engaged leadership team. Last but not least, the colleagues are amazing and work atmosphere is great, which definitely makes working at Smarp a blast. A few times a year, the company gathers all overseas offices at the Helsinki headquarters for kickoffs and gatherings that make it feel like you are part of one big team – even with colleagues that live 10 timezones away. Even during the COVID pandemic, when travel has not been a possibility, Smarp has still managed to keep the team spirit up with remote events and gatherings.
Cons
At times it can get quite busy. As in any growth stage company, there will always be more things to do than you have time for. This can sometimes result in being burdened by a bunch of tasks at the same time. However, this can usually be managed with good time management and prioritization. Definitely, something to be comfortable with, because Smarp is a place where you have to be willing to put in the work. But if you do, it pays off.
