Pros

I joined Smarsh after being impacted by a layoff at my previous company. It took me almost four months with a short personal break to find the right opportunity. I had two offers in hand, but I chose Smarsh because of how smoothly the interview process went, the trust I built with the hiring manager, and the impressive tech stack the company uses. The interviews were fair and technically straightforward. I was fully transparent about my reason for job hunting, which may have led to rejections elsewhere but I preferred honesty over pretense. I’ve always believed in letting performance speak for itself. After joining Smarsh, I discovered that we’re global leaders in Capture, Archive, and Communication Surveillance with a strong AI foundation. On my very first day, my compensation was revised to match market standards. Within six months, I received a performance based hike, and within my first year, another merit increase. In just two years, I’ve already been promoted. Having worked across multiple MNCs, I’ve rarely seen a company that so actively rewards, recognizes, and appreciates employees for their contributions toward both personal and organizational growth. Pros:- > If you can name a technology, we probably use it. > An excellent foundation for anyone new to AI and ML. > Friendly, inclusive, and supportive teams. > Base pay meets market standards, and strong performers see steady increases and promotions. > Medical, dental, wellness programs, and more. > Perfect for those who enjoy challenges and rapid growth. > Encourages balance and personal recharge. > Stock options > Work with talented teams across different geographies. > Employees are encouraged to explore other Smarsh technologies the company even provides scholarships for upskilling.

Cons

> The biggest concern is the LayOffs. However, with the recent organizational restructuring, I see a brighter and more stable future ahead. > This can be both a pro and a con. As an individual contributor, you can influence key decisions, but the processes and deployment of new technologies still need more confidence and consistency. > Be mindful of how many responsibilities you take on multitasking can sometimes lead to burnout.
